FAQ

Straight answers

The questions operators actually ask us — answered without marketing gloss.

Who is SOPCam for?

Mid-market, multi-site frontline operations — facility management, housekeeping and contract services first. If you onboard frontline staff repeatedly, work across languages, and answer to client audits or SLAs, SOPCam was designed for your problems.

Is it an LMS?

No. An LMS assumes the training content already exists and manages its delivery. SOPCam creates the content from real work — a task video becomes an AI-assisted draft, a manager approves it, and it ships as multilingual training with audit evidence. Delivery is part of the flow, not the product.

Does it replace managers?

No — it makes managers the explicit approval authority. AI proposes drafts; managers correct, approve or reject. Nothing reaches workers without a named human decision, and that boundary is architectural, not a policy setting.

Can it use our customer data?

Your operational content stays in your tenant, isolated from every other organisation. Public demos never use real customer data — they run on a synthetic demo tenant. During evaluation we explicitly ask you not to share confidential customer data.

Is worker surveillance included?

No, and it won't be. SOPCam captures tasks so knowledge can be shared — it does not track worker locations, monitor screens or score productivity. The camera points at the work, not at the person's day.

Can it run on client infrastructure?

The product is containerised (Docker-based), which is what makes our controlled demo lane possible. Dedicated or client-hosted deployment is a conversation we're open to with design partners, scoped case by case — we don't claim a turnkey on-premise offering today.

What is Ring 1?

Our first ring of design partners: a small group of multi-site operators who get controlled demos and scoped paid pilots, and in return shape the roadmap. Ring 1 partners get direct access to the team building the product.

What do we need for a demo?

Thirty minutes and the people who own training or operations quality. No data, no installation, no preparation — the demo runs on our synthetic tenant. Book through the demo form and suggest a window that suits you.

Is Cloudflare hosting the full app now?

No. Cloudflare provides our domain, edge and security layer for the public website. The application demo lane runs on Docker/container deployment. A hosted demo environment (demo.sopcam.in) and the SaaS app (app.sopcam.in) are planned on that same split.
